One hotkey to share. Ctrl+Shift+S generates an instant share command.

Quick Share

Press Ctrl+Shift+S while editing to instantly generate a share link. The link is copied to your clipboard automatically.

# The share command looks like:
curl -sSL https://api.jwi.dev/j/blue-tiger | sh

# Your collaborator runs this to join your session
The curl command downloads a tiny script that connects to your session. No jwi installation required for the collaborator—though they'll get the full experience if they have it installed.

Share Links

Share links are short, memorable, and secure:

  • 6-character codes for easy sharing
  • Cryptographically random
  • Expire after 24 hours

Collaborating

Once collaborators join, everyone can:

  • View the document in real-time
  • Make edits that sync to all collaborators
  • See other collaborators' cursors
  • Use structural selection and all other features

Press Ctrl+Shift+U to see who's currently in the session.

Security note

Anyone with the share link can access your session. Share links expire after 24 hours for security.
